Board of Directors Update

God’s hand is truly at work in our ministry, and one way that is evident is in how he has grown our Board of Directors over the last few months. We are pleased to introduce you to one of our newest members, Heatherly Cabral. Heatherly is a native of Hampton Roads and is extremely active in local residential, commercial, and land development real estate in the community. A graduate of Oral Roberts University, she is now the Vice President and Managing Broker for Mid-Atlantic Residential and owner of Cornerstone Custom Homes. Heatherly’s mission is to live with her hands and heart to allow the Lord to use her as He will for His purpose and Kingdom, and we’re so thankful He led her to Care Net Peninsula.

Mind-Changed

Occasionally after a client comes in for an appointment, we ask if she’d consider filling out a testimony survey. Often these are the “mind-changed” clients. Women who came to see us who were planning on having an abortion, but after talking with an advocate, chose life for their baby.

However, it is a month dedicated to the Sanctity of Human Life; the sacredness of God’s creation. It points to His holiness and kindness in making something so precious. The Provision of Time

As a staff, we are so grateful for the provision of time that our donors give us to make space and sit down and talk with women. For this woman, this literally allowed us to meet with the woman again before she went to the abortion clinic.
